From making comic books for friends at 12 to writing and performing plays in college, I’ve always tried to tell stories that resonate. Today, I weave my background in strategy, writing, and creative direction to help brands connect with people by leading with truth, empathy, and authenticity.
I began my strategy career at AKQA where I was privileged to learn from some of the sharpest minds in advertising. I partnered with iconic brands like Pfizer, Robinhood, Rivian, and Coca-Cola on digital product design, brand storytelling, and identity. These experiences taught me the value of telling stories that are difficult to ignore. I’m Nigerian so that already came easy (yeaah).
Currently, I’m at strategic planner at Erich & Kallman and lead social and experiential strategy at Afrobeats Oakland, a collective that celebrates the African Diaspora through music. I’m also involved in policy and advocacy work at New Leaders Council, pushing for change in ways that impact communities meaningfully.
Outside of work, I unwind by supporting Manchester United, rewatching Succession, exploring new recipes that involve rice, and watching MKBHD videos.
I’m excited to continue exploring how creativity and storytelling intersect in novel ways to bring meaning to people.
Let’s grab coffee sometime!
